  2. Jack and Annie had to go to the ocean. When they got to the ocean they read the riddle. Rough and gray as rock. I’m plain as plain can be. But hidden deep inside There’s great beauty inside me. What am I?

  3. When they went to find the answer to the riddle they found a sub. They saw dolphins when they were in the mini – sub in the ocean.

  4. Then they saw an octopus and it squeezed the mini-sub and it left big cracks. Then the octopus let go of the mini-sub and sprayed black ink which keeps away enemies.

  5. Then they saw a big hammer head shark. They knew they had to get out of the mini-sub because the mini-sub was leaking. They started swimming hard and fast to get away from the shark. After a while they couldn’t swim any more because they were so tired that the dolphins came to help them.

  6. When they got back to shore Annie stepped on something really hard. When She saw what it was she told Jack that it was the answer to the riddle. What she saw was an Oyster And oysters have a beautiful pearl inside. So they went into the tree house and went home.
