  3. Class Rules • The bell signals the start of class • No food in class • No hats, hoods, coats • Disruptions=work not hard enough • No electronics in class • Bring any supplies you may need to class • Passes at teacher’s discretion

  4. Computer Rules • Only school work may be done on lab computers • No headphones allowed • No music videos or gaming • All papers should be backed up to personal e-mail or flash drive • Any infractions of these rules may result in loss of computer privileges.

  5. Grading Policy • 10% Participation • 10% Homework • 20% Notebook • 20% Journal • 40% Test/Essays

  6. Journal—Kept with student (Random Checks) Notebook—Kept with student Homework—Can only be made up if the student is legally absent Participation—3 points a day 1 point for being on time 2 points (1 point at a time) reading, class discussions, etc. Extra points may be awarded Participation points may be made up after school if absent.

  7. It is the student’s responsibility to meet with the teacher to obtain make-up work if absent.
