  1. Type To Learn

  2. Accessing “Type To Learn” • Go to Start menu, Select Programs and choose Education and then Select “Type to learn” • Press “Ctrl+Alt+T” to enter the class information • Just press “Enter” (there is no password) • Click on Teacher menu, choose “Add Classes”. Add Your classes in that window.

  3. Accessing “Type To Learn” • Click “Add” , then click “Done” when you Finished adding your classes.

  4. Go Back to the “Teacher Menu” and choose “Add students” • Type your First name • Click “Add” and “Done” • You Will now see-

  6. New Frontiers • Learn New Keystrokes • Review Keystrokes from past lessons • Work through a typing Drill • You may be offered a “game break” just press “Enter” to accept Game • Give You “Report” • Scores will be saved.

  10. Notepad • Notepad is a word processing file • Write anything • Similar to “MS Word” • Same Menu options as “MS Word”

Wrapspeed • Practice your typing skills • Line will appear at top and you must type the same words and press “Enter” • Mistakes will be shown in Red and underlined words • Missing words will appear in three red underlined dots • “Click Here for Scores” • 5 or more errors, Correct Errors” button

Types of Menu in “Type to Learn” • File Menu- this menu will have six options and that are- • New- you can use this option to create a new file in “NotePad” • Open- opening an already saved file. • Save- You can save your work on existing file • Save As- can save your file with different name.
