  8. Things to note • Hitch in pairs • Take your belongings at all times • Well groomed = Easier hikes • Talk to the driver • Why? • Courtesy • Get to know your driver • Display sense of confidence

  9. Why Hitchhike? • Meeting real local people • Chance of good conversation

  10. Free!!! • Comfortable seats, free music • Jostling of seats on public buses and still have to pay!
