Glorifying God … 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 For us, there is but one God and one Lord Jesus Christ in whom all things come and in whom we live. For us, there is one creator; one recipient of our life.
Glorifying God … Isaiah 26:8 renown => defined as exalted reputation ... the state of being widely known for great achievements or merits, fame God has gained glory for Himself through His actions in our world and through the story of His people.
Glorifying God … Romans 11:36 All things are from Him, through Him and to Him, to God be the glory forever. Amen.
Glorifying God … Colossians 1:16 by Him, for Him … Jesus is before all things and in Jesus all things hold together. From Him, Through Him, To Him, By Him, For Him, In Him … (It is about Him!)

Glorifying God … All of these acted upon the exalted reputation of God. God’s renown meant more to them than their own life. They placed themselves on the line for God’s exalted reputation and God received the glory.
Our problem with God’s glory Genesis 11:4 – a name for ourselves Romans 3:23 – fall short of the glory of God The garden of Eden … The Tower of Babel … Our world today.
How can we live for the glory of God? • Allow God into our week and our agenda. • Pray for God’s activity this week. (VBS) • Be faithful to that which God has already told us.
