There are some churches and ministries that believe that the Churches will be raptured into a heavenly "Jesus place of safety" to escape sufferings while the world undergoes the rage of the devil during the Tribulation period. Petra is often referred as the most preferred Jesus place of safety.

  3. Christianity is one of the well-known and biggest religions with billions of followers across the globe. The Christians, believe Jesus Christ is the incarnation of God and the awaited Messiah. The Christian people follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as an example of living a spiritual life. Tribulation is a period where everyone across the globe will experience religious deception, hardships, pestilences, disasters, war, earthquakes, famine, and suffering which will demolish more than 75% of the life on the earth before the Second coming of the Jesus on the earth. This will be the time of great suffering and demise is known as the period of the Great Tribulation. Some Pretribulationists believe that those who follow God will be raptured before this period. The Great Tribulation period is prophesied to continue for a period of 42 months or 3.5 years. The occurrence of the Tribulation remains one of the major questions. God is forgiving and therefore, why will He allow tribulation happen. God will bring this tribulation as a punishment if his warnings are not noticed and prevalent sins are not repented. This period is basically a judgment on the evil humanity provokes by the rage of Jesus Christ.

  4. If people decline to repent, the God warnings He will intensify the punishments and send foreign invaders to bring the judgments against them. God will guard those people who devotedly abide, seek to serve, and trust Him. The book of Psalms contains a number of the scriptures that speak of God protecting His faithful people. However, there are other places also that are claimed to be Jesus place of safety some of them are Arkansas, north east Pennsylvania, and the Caucasus Mountains. God can protect his people no matter where they are and He does not need to send us anywhere as long as people follow his plan and teaching in the life.
