Fractions, Decimals, Percentages • Converting is easier then you think • They are almost the same things • When adding fractions don’t add the denominators • When simplifying make sure to show your work • No matter what your doing show your work
Data Management • Mean easily is the average • Mode is the number that is there the most • When searching for the median cross out each number until you reach the middle • Calculators are very efficient for this topic • Always show your work
Order of Operations • Make sure your calculator does order of operations before you use it • Calculations must be done from left to right • Brackets first • Then Exponents • Multiplication & Division • Then Addition & Subtraction
Area • Radius = Diameter ÷ 2 • Diameter = Radius x 2 • π = 3.14 • Circumference = Diameter x π • Area = π x Radius2
