One Family | Four Generations • Elmer Joseph Dronzek (II) • Born Peckville, Pennsylvania, January 29, 1921, to John and Sophia Dronzek. • B-29 navigator, U.S. Army Air Force, World War II, Pacific theater. • Educated at University of Bridgeport and Case Western Reserve University. • Industrial engineer, retires as Vice-President for manufacturing of Gillette in 1986. • Dies Stuart, Florida, April 26, 2007.
One Family | Four Generations • John William Dronzek (III) • Born Olyphant, Pennsylvania, September 4, 1893, to Stephen and Anna Dronzek. • Works in Scranton, Pennsylvania, silk mill as an adolescent. • Works in Scranton coal mines as an adult. • Family lore places his death in mine accident in approximately 1933.

His wife, Anna, born in 1872, also likely in present Slovakia. • Works in Scranton, Pennsylvania, coal mines. • Stephen and Anna have at least eight children. Dates for the couple’s marriage, and their deaths, as yet undetermined.
