surgeon noun a medical practitioner qualified to practise surgery. Ex. I’d like to be a surgeon.
symptom noun Signs of illness. Ex. Cold symptoms include a temperature and a running nose.
accurate adjective precise or free from errors. Ex. This clock is not very accurate.
allergy noun a damaging immune response by the body to a substance. Ex. I have an allergy to animal hair.
injury noun physical damage to the body or a part of the body. Ex. Two players are out of the team because of injury.
hygiene noun Personal cleanliness. Ex. In the interests of hygiene, please wash your hands.
anatomy noun the branch of science concerned with the bodily structure. Ex. The anatomy of animals is a difficult study.
medicine noun a drug or remedy used for treating illness. Ex. I want to take my cough medicine.
treat verb treated treated to give medical aid to somebody. Ex. Doctors treat people in hospitals.
manual noun a book that contains instructions. Ex. I like reading many medical manuals.
oath noun a solemn promise. Ex. The witness placed his hand on the Quran and took the oath.
observation noun The process of observing something or someone. Ex. Most information was collected by direct observation.
