1. Oil spills We are showing you how you people kill fish.

2. What does oil spills effect ? • It effects fish, humans and animals because we eat fish and that fish might have died from the oil spill and also with animals like bears and birds.

3. How do oil spill go into the water ? • 1.Storms can make the ship sinkand the ship might have oil in them . • 2. In war sometimes they throw oil in the ocean to destroy the ships. • 3. Maybe the crew don’t agree on something then one of them might hit it. • 4. Maybe the ship crash into something and the oil falls off.

4. Could it be stopped? 1.It can be stopped by the waves leading it to land and people would be informed straight away before the oil gets thicker and thicker. 2.It can also be stopped by the boats because they have something like a vacuum cleaner which sucks a little of the oil spill.

5. Who is responsible for this ? • Hamad: I think the one that is responsible is not a human because maybe it was from storms orif a ship crashes into a rock. • Abdulrahman: I think the it’s the captains fault because he is the one that is driving and he should be responsible of the ship. • Bader: I think it’s the crews fault because they did not tie the oil very good on the ship or the other country that wanted the oil.

6. Facts • In March 1989 the oil tanker exxonvaldez ran aground off the coast of Alaska. It leaked more than 12 gallons of oil. The oil killed nearly 100,000 sea birds, 150 rare bald eagles and I,000 others.
