Priority, Focus &Reward • 339 schools were identified as Focus, same number as last year: 185 were repeats and 154 were new • 8 schools that were labeled ‘Reward’ last year, are now identified as Focus. • 37 schools that were identified as Focus last year are now identified as Reward. • Macomb gained 17 new Focusschools and maintained 12. • Macomb removed 11 Focus schools from the 2013 list and gained 5 new Priority schools at the elementary level. • Macomb maintained one Priority high school. • Macomb had 9 SIG/PLA schools not on the 2013 Priority list. • Macomb regained 1 Priority middle school that was on the 2010 PLA list. • Macomb has 17 Reward Schools on the 2013, one SIG school remained for a 2nd year.
