  2. Project Description • A device that converts music from an audio input device into guitar tabs. • Allows a guitar player to improvise without worrying about manually recalling what they are playing. • Could also input recordings of professional players to get tabbed versions of guitar music.

  3. Project Specific Success Criteria • Successfully capture sound from a guitar. • Successfully convert the captured sound into tabs. • Successfully print the converted music by interfacing with a printer. • Successfully store the music in digital form. • Successfully interact with the user via a LCD screen.
