בִּשְׁנַת שָׁלוֹשׁ לְמָלְכוֹ עָשָׂה מִשְׁתֶּה לְכָל שָׂרָיו וַעֲבָדָיו... (א:ג)ו ...in the third year of his reign, he made a party for all his officers and servants... (1:3) Page
וְהַשְׁקוֹת בִּכְלֵי זָהָב... וְהַשְּׁתִיָּה כַדָּת אֵין אֹנֵס (א:ז-ח)ו the drinks were served in golden goblets... (1:7) the drinking was voluntary, nobody was coerced... (1:8) Page

וַיֶּאֱהַב הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת אֶסְתֵּר מִכָּל הַנָּשִׁים... וַיָּשֶׂם כֶּתֶר מַלְכוּת בְּרֹאשָׁהּ וַיַּמְלִיכֶהָ תַּחַת וַשְׁתִּי. (ב:יז)ו The king loved Esther more than all the other women... and he placed the royal crown on her head, making her queen instead of Vashti. (2:17) Page
וּמָרְדֳּכַי יוֹשֵׁב בְּשַׁעַר הַמֶּלֶךְ קָצַף בִּגְתָן וָתֶרֶשׁ שְׁנֵי סָרִיסֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ מִשֹּׁמְרֵי הַסַּף... (ב:כא)ו ...and Mordechai was sitting at the palace gates, Bigsan and Seresh, two of the king's kitchen officers got angry... (2:21) Page
וַיְבֻקַּשׁ הַדָּבָר וַיִּמָּצֵא וַיִּתָּלוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם עַל עֵץ... (ב:כג)ו The matter was looked into, and both of them were hung on the gallows... (2:23) Page
אַחַר הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה גִּדַּל הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ אֶת הָמָן בֶּן הַמְּדָתָא הָאֲגָגִי וַיְנַשְּׂאֵהוּ... (ג:א)ו After this, the king raised the rank of Haman, son of Hamdasa, the Agagite... (3:1) Page
כֹּרְעִים וּמִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לְהָמָן... וּמָרְדֳּכַי לֹא יִכְרַע וְלֹא יִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה. (ג:ב)ו ...bent to their knees and prostrated themselves to Haman... but Mordechai would neither go down on his knees, nor prostate himself to Haman. (3:2) Page
וַיֹּאמְרוּ עַבְדֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ... לְמָרְדֳּכָי מַדּוּעַ אַתָּה עוֹבֵר אֵת מִצְוַת הַמֶּלֶךְ. (ג:ג)ו The king's servants said... to Mordechai, why are you defying the command of the king? (3:3) Page
וַיַּגִּידוּ לְהָמָן לִרְאוֹת הֲיַעַמְדוּ דִּבְרֵי מָרְדֳּכַי... (ג:ד)ו ...they told Haman, to see if he could take this matter of Mordechai... (3:4) Page
וַיְבַקֵּשׁ הָמָן לְהַשְׁמִיד אֶת כָּל הַיְּהוּדִים אֲשֶׁר בְּכָל מַלְכוּת אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ עַם מָרְדֳּכָי. (ג:ו)ו Haman wanted to destroy all the Jews in the entire kingdom of Achashverosh as they were Mordechai's nation. (3:6) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הָמָן לַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ... (ג:ח)ו Haman said to King Achashverosh... (3:8) Page
אִם עַל הַמֶּלֶךְ טוֹב יִכָּתֵב לְאַבְּדָם... (ג:ט)ו ...if it is okay with the king, it should be written to destroy them... (3:9) Page
וַיָּסַר הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת טַבַּעְתּוֹ מֵעַל יָדוֹ וַיִּתְּנָהּ לְהָמָן בֶּן הַמְּדָתָא הָאֲגָגִי צֹרֵר הַיְּהוּדִים. (ג:י)ו The king removed his signet ring from his hand, and gave it to Haman, son of Hamdasa the Agagite, the Jew-hater. (3:10) Page
וַיִּקָּרְאוּ סֹפְרֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ... וַיִּכָּתֵב כְּכָל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה הָמָן... (ג:יב)ו The king's scribes were summoned... and it was written as Haman dictated... (3:12) Page
בְּשֵׁם הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרֹשׁ נִכְתָּב וְנֶחְתָּם בְּטַבַּעַת הַמֶּלֶךְ. (ג:יב)ו ...it was written in the name of King Achashverosh, and signed with the king's seal. (3:12) Page
וּמָרְדֳּכַי יָדַע אֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר נַעֲשָׂה וַיִּקְרַע מָרְדֳּכַי אֶת בְּגָדָיו... וַיֵּצֵא בְּתוֹךְ הָעִיר וַיִּזְעַק זְעָקָה גְדוֹלָה וּמָרָה. (ד:א)ו Mordechai knew all that had occurred, he tore his clothes... and went out into the street, and cried out in a loud and bitter cry... (4:1) Page
וַתִּשְׁלַח בְּגָדִים לְהַלְבִּישׁ אֶת מָרְדֳּכַי וּלְהָסִיר שַׂקּוֹ מֵעָלָיו וְלֹא קִבֵּל. (ד:ד)ו ...and she sent clothing for Mordochai to dress in, instead of his sackcloth, but he refused. (4:4) Page
וְאֶת פַּתְשֶׁגֶן כְּתָב הַדָּת אֲשֶׁר נִתַּן בְּשׁוּשָׁן לְהַשְׁמִידָם נָתַן לוֹ לְהַרְאוֹת אֶת אֶסְתֵּר... (ד:ח)ו ...and he gave him the written decree that was distributed in Shushan, to show Esther... (4:8) Page
וַתֹּאמֶר אֶסְתֵּר לַהֲתָךְ וַתְּצַוֵּהוּ אֶל מָרְדֳּכָי. (ד:י)ו Esther spoke to Hasach, and commanded him with regard to Mordechai... (4:10) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר מָרְדֳּכַי לְהָשִׁיב אֶל אֶסְתֵּר אַל תְּדַמִּי בְנַפְשֵׁךְ לְהִמָּלֵט בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ מִכָּל הַיְּהוּדִים. (ד:יג)ו Mordechai sent back a response to Esther not to imagine that she could escape the decree by hiding away from all the Jews, in the palace. (4:13) Page
וּבְכֵן אָבוֹא אֶל הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲשֶׁר לֹא כַדָּת וְכַאֲשֶׁר אָבַדְתִּי אָבָדְתִּי. (ד:טז)ו ...and then I'll go illegally to the king, and if I die, so be it! (4:16) Page
וַיְהִי כִרְאוֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת אֶסְתֵּר הַמַּלְכָּה... וַיּוֹשֶׁט הַמֶּלֶךְ... אֶת שַׁרְבִיט הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדוֹ... (ה:ב)ו It was when the king saw Queen Esther... he stretched out... his golden sceptre that he was holding... (5:2) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ הַמֶּלֶךְ מַה לָּךְ אֶסְתֵּר הַמַּלְכָּה וּמַה בַּקָּשָׁתֵךְ... (ה:ג)ו The king asked her, “What is it Esther? What do you want?” (5:3) Page
וַתֹּאמֶר אֶסְתֵּר... יָבוֹא הַמֶּלֶךְ וְהָמָן הַיּוֹם אֶל הַמִּשְׁתֶּה אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי לוֹ. (ה:ד)ו Esther responded... “The king and Haman should come today to the party that I made for him...” (5:4) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ לְאֶסְתֵּר בְּמִשְׁתֵּה הַיַּיִן מַה שְּׁאֵלָתֵךְ וְיִנָּתֵן לָךְ וּמַה בַּקָּשָׁתֵךְ... (ה:ו)ו The king asked Esther at the party, “What is it that you want? It will be given to you. What is it that you are asking for?”… (5:6) Page
וְכִרְאוֹת הָמָן אֶת מָרְדֳּכַי... וְלֹא קָם וְלֹא זָע מִמֶּנּוּ וַיִּמָּלֵא הָמָן עַל מָרְדֳּכַי חֵמָה. (ה:ט)ו When Haman saw Mordechai... and he did not get up or even move from in front of him. Haman became enraged with Mordechai. (5:9) Page
וְכָל זֶה אֵינֶנּוּ שֹׁוֶה לִי... (ה:יג)ו ...none of this is worth anything to me... (5:13) Page
וַיִּיטַב הַדָּבָר לִפְנֵי הָמָן וַיַּעַשׂ הָעֵץ. (ה:יד)ו ...this idea found favour to Haman, and he made the gallows. (5:14) Page
בַּלַּיְלָה הַהוּא נָדְדָה שְׁנַת הַמֶּלֶךְ... סֵפֶר הַזִּכְרֹנוֹת דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים וַיִּהְיוּ נִקְרָאִים לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ. (ו:א)ו That night, the king's sleep was disturbed... his Book of Chronicles, that it be read in front of him. (6:1) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ מִי בֶחָצֵר וְהָמָן בָּא לַחֲצַר בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ הַחִיצוֹנָה... (ו:ד)ו The king asked “Who is in the courtyard?” Haman had come to the king's outer courtyard... (6:4) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הָמָן בְּלִבּוֹ לְמִי יַחְפֹּץ הַמֶּלֶךְ לַעֲשׂוֹת יְקָר יוֹתֵר מִמֶּנִּי... (ו:ו)ו ...Haman thought to himself, who could the king want to honour more than me?! (6:6) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ לְהָמָן... וַעֲשֵׂה כֵן לְמָרְדֳּכַי הַיְּהוּדִי... אַל תַּפֵּל דָּבָר מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתָּ. (ו:י)ו The king said to Haman... and do so to Mordechai the Jew... don't leave out anything that you said. (6:10) Page
וְסָרִיסֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הִגִּיעוּ וַיַּבְהִלוּ לְהָבִיא אֶת הָמָן אֶל הַמִּשְׁתֶּה אֲשֶׁר עָשְׂתָה אֶסְתֵּר. (ו:יד)ו The king's officers came and rushed Haman to the party that Esther had made. (6:14) Page
וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ... גַּם בַּיּוֹם הַשֵּׁנִי... מַה שְּׁאֵלָתֵךְ אֶסְתֵּר הַמַּלְכָּה וְתִנָּתֵן לָךְ וּמַה בַּקָּשָׁתֵךְ... (ז:ב)ו The king asked... on the second day too... “What is your wish, Queen Esther, so that it be fulfilled, and what is it that you wanted?” (7:2) Page
וַתַּעַן אֶסְתֵּר הַמַּלְכָּה וַתֹּאמַר... תִּנָּתֶן לִי נַפְשִׁי בִּשְׁאֵלָתִי וְעַמִּי בְּבַקָּשָׁתִי. (ז:ג)ו Queen Esther replied and said... “My survival is my request, and the survival of my people is what I am asking for!” (7:3) Page
וְהַמֶּלֶךְ קָם בַּחֲמָתוֹ מִמִּשְׁתֵּה הַיַּיִן אֶל גִּנַּת הַבִּיתָן... (ז:ז)ו ...the king got up from the party, infuriated, to air out in the inner-garden... (7:7) Page
וְהַמֶּלֶךְ שָׁב מִגִּנַּת הַבִּיתָן... וְהָמָן נֹפֵל עַל הַמִּטָּה אֲשֶׁר אֶסְתֵּר עָלֶיהָ... (ז:ח)ו ...the king returned from the inner-garden... and Haman fell onto the bed that Esther was on... (7:8) Page
וַיִּתְלוּ אֶת הָמָן עַל הָעֵץ אֲשֶׁר הֵכִין לְמָרְדֳּכָי... (ז:י)ו ...they hung Haman on the gallows that he'd prepared for Mordechai... (7:10) Page
וַיָּסַר הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת טַבַּעְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱבִיר מֵהָמָן וַיִּתְּנָהּ לְמָרְדֳּכָי... (ח:ב)ו The king removed his signet ring, which he'd taken back from Haman, and gave it to Mordechai... (8:2) Page
וַתּוֹסֶף אֶסְתֵּר וַתְּדַבֵּר לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַתִּפֹּל לִפְנֵי רַגְלָיו וַתֵּבְךְּ וַתִּתְחַנֶּן לוֹ... (ח:ג)ו Esther once again spoke to the king. She fell to his feet, crying and begging him... (8:3) Page
וְאַתֶּם כִּתְבוּ עַל הַיְּהוּדִים כַּטּוֹב בְּעֵינֵיכֶם, בְּשֵׁם הַמֶּלֶךְ, וְחִתְמוּ, בְּטַבַּעַת הַמֶּלֶךְ... (ח:ח)ו You should write for the Jews as you wish, in the name of the king, and sign it with the king's seal... (8:8) Page
וַיִּקָּרְאוּ סֹפְרֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ בָּעֵת הַהִיא... וַיִּכָּתֵב כְּכָל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מָרְדֳּכַי (ח:ט)ו The king's scribes were duly summoned... and they wrote as Mordechai dictated... (8:9) Page
וַיִּכְתֹּב בְּשֵׁם הַמֶּלֶךְ... וַיַּחְתֹּם בְּטַבַּעַת הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיִּשְׁלַח... בְּיַד הָרָצִים... (ח:י)ו They wrote in the name of the king... and signed with his signet ring, and they were sent... by the couriers... (8:10) Page
