  2. Autocratic Leader • = is a leader who usually needs to dominate each other. The autocratic is unilateral and they attempt to achieve a single goal or objective.

  3. Pros • The task is straightforward. • The leader has clear authority. • This is ideal when quick decisions need to be made such as in a hospital.

  4. Cons • Sometimes confused with yelling and abuse. • No room for negotiating. • Bad for creative or artistic type of jobs.

  5. Real World Example • This is accepted because most people are familiar with autocratic leadership. • There is less trouble adapting to this style. • This is the most acceptable form of leadership in stressful situations. For example in a hospital when quick decisions need to be made there is one person who makes a quick decision.
