CAPIO Login process • In the Indiapost website follow the link Right to Information • In the RTI page click CAPIO Module • You will be taken to the login screen of the CAPIO module of DOP as in the figure above
Operator menu • Upon successful login, operator menu appears as in figure aside • Select the option Register New Requestto register and despatch a fresh request
Registering new request • Enter details of request • Select the nodal CPIO concerned • Enter mode of despatch and payment details • Click Submit button • Unique registration number is assigned for the request
Acknowledgement for the request • In the CAPIO desk select the option Print Acknowledgements • Select the registration number concerned • The Acknowledgement appears as in the figure aside • This can be printed and given to the person seeking information
Handling pending requests • Despatch of requests can initially be postponed for various reasons • When such requests are to be despatched select the option Requests/Appeals pending for despatch in the main menu • The Update requests form appears as in the figure aside • Select the registered request, enter despatch details and update exercise 1
Handling appeals • Select the option Register New Appeal in the Operator’s desk • Enter the appeal data in the Appeal Registration Form and submit • Appeal registration number is generated
Status Report • The Status report menu of request/appeal can be accessed by selecting the option View Status in the operator’s desk • In the Report menu on enter any of the parameters like Registration no., Name, State and City to search the request or appeal pending and click Submit • On selecting the request/appeal concerned the current status is fetched
Registers • The Request Register and Appeal Register can be accessed by viewing the Reports option
Supervisor tasks • The Supervisor on logging in gets the interface as in the figure aside • The Supervisor can view the Request and Appeal register including the total fee and postal charges collected • Supervisor can reset operator password and can change his/her own password
Utilities – Change password • The operator can use the Change password option to change the current password to a new one exercise 2
