Factors effecting payroll Here are some different factors that should be kept in mind before getting a job at any place as they can influence the amount of money you may earn. • Location: Salaries for CNA are also different in every state. The cost of living in any state determines the salary offered in any occupation. According to this average salary earned by a CNA in New York is $33,400 and Iowa, having low cost of living provides an average earning of$26,400.

  4. Factors effecting payroll • Education: For many professions, the degree of education and the amount of training that you get plays a vital role in fixing salary. Salary earned by a CNA having the minimum required education would be up to $20,000, where as a CNA with highest education as well as more training experience can earn up to $30,000.

Moreover, you can also earn more experience and money if you keep on studying and gain on hand working experience. • Employers:Another major factor affecting the payroll is the place where you are employed. Here are some estimates of salary according to different nursing homes, care centers and hospitals.

Factors effecting payroll • Nursing homes and care centers provide long term care facilities, so CNAs employed there are paid about $10-$13 hourly. • For home aides the hourly pay is $8-$11 as they are controlled by private companies and you have to travel from one patient to another. • Hospitals offer $11-$15 hourly which is more than that of care center and nursing homes.

Wages National wages • According to the United Stated Bureau of Labor Statistics, for May 2015, annual average wage earned by a CNA was $26,820 and the wage earned hourly had an average of $12.90 with the total of 1,420,570 employees working as a CNA. • The nursing assistant working in private hospitals and care centers are paid up to $12.10 whereas the CNA working for federal government are paid up to $13.50 hourly.
