Advanced Word Lesson 3 Tracking Changes • Choose Tools, then select Track Changes • Pick Highlight Changes in the sub-menu • Check the box to “Track changes while editing” • Uncheck the box reading “Highlight changes in printed document” • Click the Options button Options Button 3

Advanced Word Lesson 3 Advanced Tables • Choose Table, then select Draw Table • Draw the outline of the table to be created • Use the pencil cursor to draw cells anywhere needed • Join cells together by using the Eraser Tool 8
Advanced Word Lesson 3 Dropped Capitals • Click next to the letter to be changed (either side) • Choose Format, then select Drop Cap; click the Position checkbox • Choose a font, number of lines to drop, and distance from the text • To drop more than one character, highlight them before beginning Drop Effect 9
