  5. 90 min, interactive round table very short "keynote" statements (speakers will introduce their institutions' individual approach for bringing science to the public) followed by a panel and a plenary discussion (30 min) How is it possible to give lay people an insight into the processes and methods of today's research? How can the public be enabled to participate in the scientific process? What are the boundary conditions for developing an effective dialogue on science between public and researchers? How much of scientific content and concepts can be conveyed? What are appropriate locations for this process?
