Nerve endings and is sensitive – pink eye - conjunctivitis Lacrimal apparatus canal, sac , glands, pores Produces, distributes and removes tears. Tears contains an enzyme that kills bacteria. Along with the tarsal glands, tears make an oily covering to reduce friction and evaporation.
