Other Characters • Rev -a 'brainiac', deeply religious, a decent, likeable boy; offers to tutor Louie. • Louie - 'white trash', from a poor background, and not a scholar; singer and dancer; open-minded – "I'm with everybody." • Petey – oversensitive, self-centred, has to learn to put the team ahead of himself. • Sunshine – has a personality to match his name. • Blue – sees life through music; but also shows grit, determination. • Ray – invented character to represent the intransigent racist.

Use the Cloze Summary Sheet to divide the plot line of Titans into 12 main parts. Once you’ve done that, create a narrative tension graph to plot the ebbs and flows of tension throughout the story.
