What Are You Looking For? • “I’m looking for a church that is large and fast growing” (Mt. 7:13-14; Lk. 13:23-24) • “I’m looking for a church like the one I was raised in” (Gal. 1:13-16; Phil. 3:5-10) • “I’m looking for a church that is conveniently located near my home” (Jn. 4:20-24) • “I’m looking for a church with popular people in it” (1 Cor. 1:12,26; 3:7)

The Lord’s Church Is A Family • We are children of obedience (1 Pet. 1:14) – a family that is not like the world • We are a brotherhood (1 Pet. 2:17; 1 Jn. 3:13-19; 4:7,20-21) – a family that loves each other • We are called children of God (1 Jn. 3:1-2,10; 5:10) – a family not accept by the world
