Advanced Google Strategies • Use the “exact phrase” box • Can limit the results of a search to specific types of files, such as PowerPoint, Excel or Word • Can limit the results of a search to specific types of sites, such as census.gov or nyc.gov or cuny.edu • Can limit the results of a search to pages that have been updated within the past week or year • Can limit the results of a search by geographic region
