SDDB History UNCLASSIFIED • Early 2000, Leaders of USTRANSCOM & DLA developed the Strategic Distribution Management Initiative • RAND Corporation integrated DoD and non-DoD data sources to diagnose enterprise problems in support of this effort • RAND’s enterprise data repository became the Strategic Distribution Database (SDDB) • Transitioned database maintenance to DORRA and performance reporting/analysis to USTRANSCOM in 2006 • Today the SDDB is a fundamental basis for distribution performance management for the DPO mission UNCLASSIFIED
