  2. Why do we utilize the DRA? • What does the DRA provide to a classroom teacher? • What might the DRA2 assess? DRA2

DRA2 offers a method for assessing and documenting primary students’ development as readers over time. • DRA2 provides teachers with information that helps them determine each student’s instructional and/or independent reading level and identify what the student needs to learn. • DRA2 assess reading engagement, oral reading fluency, and comprehension. DRA2
