  5. BioDiesel • Is a renewable fuel ( renewable energy source) that can be manufactured from your recycled kitchen oils, new vegetable oils, and animal fats.

  6. Clean • Biodiesel is a green fuel and has passed the health effects testing requirements (Tier I and Tier II) of the Clean Air Act of 1990 with results indicating that biodiesel is biodegradable, non-toxic and poses no threat to people’s health. It improves air quality and the health of communities. • Biodiesel burns much cleaner than petroleum diesel, reducing particulate matter, carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, and other smog causing particles.

  7. Safe • Biodiesel has a flash point that is considerably higher than petroleum-based diesel fuel. This means that the fire hazard associated with transportation, storage, and utilization of biodiesel is much less than with other commonly used fuels. • Biodiesel is also safe to handle and transport because it is as biodegradable as sugar, and is 10 times less toxic than table salt.

  8. Renewable • Unlike fossil fuels that are produced from a finite source, Biofuel is produced from renewable resources. Fry oil, derived from plants is not only a green resource but also plentiful and economically affordable. The waste water we extract from the fry oil during the conversion process is also recycled and reused.

  9. American Made • Biodiesel is the American alternative to foreign oil – Biodiesel is produced from coast to coast in nearly every state with regionally diverse raw materials. It is made from locally available byproducts and co-products – soybean oil in the grain belt, recycled cooking oil in urban areas, animal fats from rendering plants in the Southwest and more.

  10. Ready to use • Biodiesel is often mixed with petroleum-based diesel fuel. When 20% biodiesel is blended with 80% diesel fuel, this blend is known as B20. • Biodiesel can be used in most diesel vehicles for up to a B20 blend with no significant impact on the engine’s performance. In testing, the levels of horsepower, consumption, and torque, are similar to results achieved using pure petroleum diesel. Biodiesel also provides better lubricity for the engine than conventional diesel fuel
