Sustaining Buy-In: Staff AND Students • Action plan items each year • Get more people involved • Publicize results • Model expectations to staff- Beginning of the year in-service, Right Start Advisor • Celebrate the positives, address the negatives
Sustaining Buy-In: What has worked for our TEAM • Gather data- Use time wisely Faculty meeting surveys and nominations • Create way to involve students and staff- Use what you have School store and Staff Knights Notes • Get help from students- Use them to gather data Tally Knights Notes and give suggestions
Incentives: Staff AND Students • Business Advisory Board • Retired Teacher • School Store • Drawings- 5 for 1 chance • Goal oriented- March Madness (No referrals/absences) • Consistency- Whole school vs. Individual classrooms
A few WOW Moments! • Knights Notes used in School store reimbursements: 1470 Sept. and Oct. 1725 November • Knights Notes redeemed- 19 more staff represented from September to November (49 total)
