  3. Who? • What? • When? • Where? • AND wait for it….. • WHY? ‘WHY’ is the most important interrogatory word!

  4. It all starts when we are kids…

  5. Why do I need to hold your hand in the parking lot? So you don’t get squished by a car… ‘Because I said so!’ This will never cut it although we all say it! But why? It is important for them to know the why of things to make order of their world. It is important because it gives them a reason to follow your directions, instructions, warnings and advice…

  6. The number one question for police is why? Also known as the motive. If they know why it will likely lead to the who!
