Avoid long explanation by increasing pupils talking time.
Use different kinds of teaching aids, because pupils understand better when they see, feel, listen and touch things.
Be mentally prepared before going into your class to avoid any critical situation.
Create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere inside the classroom.
Associate Education with Entertainment.
Create life-like situations inside the classroom and relate the lesson to pupils' real life.
Always keep your pupils on alert by making them busy. Motivate them and ask them to perform different tasks like dialogues , pair work, role play , songs and discussion.
Use words in context, Let pupils use the new words in meaningful sentences.
When you present new vocabulary, remember the logical arrangement of the four skills. Let your pupils listen, speak( pronounce), read then write.
Appreciate any participation on the part of the pupil and encourage them with warm and nice words.
The introduction of the teacher's book should be read carefully.
Vary your techniques when you feel that pupils get bored.
Give due care to low achievers thorough preparing special kinds of exercises for them.
Don't interrupt learners when they speak or jump on errors.
Don't dominate all the time and leave a room for learners.
Good pupils shouldn't be allowed to dominate the class.
Weak learners should be given an adequate share of class time, regardless of their poor performance.
Silence should not be accepted from any weak pupil. Ask them to repeat what you say or what their mates say.
The whiteboard should be well arranged with clear and good handwriting.
