  1. Life’s Inner Community Nucleus Eukaryotic Cells have…

  2. cytoplasm Side nuclear pore The _______________ is a double membrane. nuclear envelope Life’s Inner Community Nucleus

  3. Within the nucleoplasm is a mass of chromatin fibersand thenucleolus. Life’s Inner Community Nucleus nucleoplasm nucleolus

  4. Life’s Inner Community Nucleus

  5. Life’s Inner Community Nucleus Within the nucleus is found chromatin and a structure called the nucleolus. Chromatin is DNA in its active form. It consists of DNA looped around histone proteins. The nucleolus is a knotof chromatin. It is the nucleolus that manufacturesribosomes.

  6. During cell division the nucleus takes on a different appearance. Life’s Inner Community Nucleus

  7. Cell membrane/wall Life’s Inner Community Cytoplasm The term cytoplasm refers to everything between the cell membrane and the nuclear envelope. The term hyaloplasm refers to only the fluid part of the cytoplasm.

  8. Life’s Inner Community Cytoplasm The cytoplasm consists of primarily of water, salts (ions), organic monomers and polymers, the building blocks of large macromolecules. It also contains various organelles as well as dissolved gasses and nutrients.

  9. organelles ! Gk: Organon – tool, ella – small Life’s Inner Community Organelles Besides having a nucleus, what sets eukaryotic celled organisms apart from prokaryotic organisms is that they have tools!
