  2. Unit Summary • Students of Jr.4 planned to have a survey to find out the behaviour of people with the animals.Their main aim to bring awareness in the community that how they should treat their pets and other domestic animals.

  3. CFQs Essential Question: What is the basic requirement of the project? Unit Question: Why is it important to convince the people regarding the care of the animals? Content Questions: What are the different ways to get the maximum involvement of the animal owners? How can we bring awareness regarding the animals in our community?

Vision for Unit By creating this unit, I want to • Try out new methods to involve the students in the community work • Think of ways to get the parents participate in the school activities During this unit, I want my students to • Learn ways to bring awareness of animal care to their daily lives • Use technology to communicate with different audiences

Project Approaches As my students work on this project, they • Bring awareness of animal care in the community • Collaborate with peers and community members • Create an atmosphere that shows what they care for animals • Share their learning with a real audience during the photographic competition

  6. 21st Century Learning Students will develop higher-order and 21st century skills in this unit as they • Use the Essential and Unit Questions to guide their analysis of the project to collect the data during the survey • Communicate their ideas to a community audience • Reflect on their findings during the research, and thinking strategies, and modify and adapt them as necessary • Use project assessments to self-assess their work and give feedback to their peers

  7. Gauging Student Needs Assessments • Use CFQs to learn • The students learning and their impact on the people involved • Assess 21st Century skills • Ability to see awareness and performance of students in different activities.

Gauging Student Needs Assessments I can use the information from these assessments to: • Focus on the findings of the students during the survey • Plan activities in which they will create awareness in the general public Students can use the information from these assessments to: • Bring maximum involvement and awareness in the people • Set goals for how they will continue this noble cause in future
