  3. Changing Technological Management We cannot ‘manage change’ BUT… that doesn’t mean we cannot organise ourselves more effectively to deal with challenges that might come along. Supporting Further and Higher Education

  5. TLTRs? “A TLTR is a diverse group representing those who can and should work together to improve teaching and learning with information & communication technologies” TLT Group Supporting Further and Higher Education

Methodological Overview • Case studies at three principal sites • Informal visits to other UK institutions • Semi-structured survey and telephone interviews of UK experiences • Face-to-face and telephone interviews with North American institutions who have experience of TLTR • Videoconference with Australian TLTR Supporting Further and Higher Education

  7. ‘Ground Clearing Exercise’ • 85% of further education institutions and 77% of higher education institutions have an “institutional committee for making decisions abut the use of technology in teaching & learning” Supporting Further and Higher Education

  8. ‘Ground Clearing Exercise’ • 65.5%of these committees in the FEIs and 67% in the HE sector were established in the last two years • 65.5% of these committees meet on a bi-monthly/termly basis Supporting Further and Higher Education
