He became the first player since Wilt Chamberlin to score more than 3,000 points in a single season. He received his 1st Most Valuable Player NBA award. The Bulls made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 1990 and won their first of 3 straight NBA championships!! He has made the All-NBA First team 10 times, All-NBA Defensive First Team 9 times, and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 88. He is a 2 time Slam Dunk Champion, winning in 87 & 88, a 14 time All-Star Selections, and a 3 time All-Start Game MVP. As a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team, he won the gold at the games that year. and later helped the American team bring home the gold medal at the 1992 Olympic Games.
