FINDINGS Our starting point: Observations and vox pop • Enforced socialisation • Usual practice • Almost involuntary pattern of behaviour • They are only aware of other people if/when a breakdown in the flow occur • Herd mentality • Most people stand • ”Mental break” • Escalator etiquette; almost everybody know the rule exists but can’t necessary quite them
