PPTW Purpose • Identify programs that have been successful in implementing strategies that increase the participation and/or completion of underrepresented gender students in nontraditional career and technical education
Selection Criteria • Quality • Learning goals & objectives clear, challenging & appropriate • Program content & instructional approach aligned with learning goals & focused on nontraditional CTE programs • Focus on addressing barriers to gender equity • Integration of equity principles & compliance with civil rights laws • Effective collaborations with internal & external organizations
Selection Criteria • Impact • Data & evidence that supports the outcomes of the project • Contributes to educational excellence for all learners and leads to other positive results or outcomes. • Contributes to local workforce developmentand to the economic development and growth of the community
Selection Criteria • Documentation and Replicability • Program or practice can be successfully implemented in other educational settings • Materials describing program design & implementation are comprehensive and available
