  3. Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick 1st 2012 Goal-From the Word Ephesians 4:2-3 • 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, • 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick 2nd 2012 Goal-From the Word Titus 2: 3-5 • 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; • 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, • 5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • Time to come together as women of God • There’s work for each of us • Time to come together more in unity/love • Time to forgive/forsake/forgetting the past • Move with the SHIFT for 2012 • God gave us 3-goals for the women from the word • The pastor’s theme is “A Year of Rest” • Resting from fundraising/selling/business • Seeking God more through the WORD

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • Serving as church mother for 5 Years this month • We acknowledge our mistakes/being misunderstood • To those we have offended/hurt/discouraged/forgive • Pray for us as we seek God to teach us how to serve • Let’s be better saints, mothers, sisters, teachers, helpers, and servants • Let’s be stronger than ever • Support/Encourage/Love/Pray for each other • Not going to address issues/problems/seek God for answer

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • The YWCC (ages 18-49) will be receiving letter soon • All are asked to respond to the request enclosed • YWCC members; begin reading the book of Ruth • Take your time/references/seek pertinent info from other sources • The CWC (age 50+) will be meeting soon • Focusing on being mentors/teachers/mothers • Focus on studying “Wise Women Attacking Today’s Tough Issues with God’s Timeless Wisdom

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • The Puritans (ages 13-17) will be meeting in 2 weeks • Parents-it’s imperative for you to support • The Daniel Fast-Pray for God to move in the Women’s Department • Bandleaders/Auxiliary Leaders stay tuned for scheduled meetings with each of you individually

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • In my CONCLUSION: • We ask for your Help/Assistance as we move forward • We are moving to a place we’ve never gone before • Seeking willing workers to move this vision • It’s more of US than them—we are on a move • We love you/appreciate you/we have what it takes! • Let’s watch God move and take us into our MIRACLE! • Seek God first with all our heart/soul/mind!

Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick • The Faith Deliverance Women’s Handbook (distribute to those never received it) • This handbook is only a guide for women with the principles of holy living. • You are automatically in a band/auxiliary for spiritual growth • 2-12 years of age are in the Sunshine Band • 13-17 years of age are in the Purity Class • 18-49 years of age are in the YWCC • 50+ years of age are in the CWC

  12. Women’s Department Annual AddressChurch Mother Laura Myrick Quarterly Fellowships • The Women’s Department will coordinate and carry out quarterly fellowships for the church membership. I am asking for a committee of willing workers. Our first fellowship event will be next month in February. Please see me if you are interested in this work. Can Goods Pantry • The third Sunday, 1/14/12 will begin our can-good collection. Asking for willing workers to help with the collection and distribution to those in the church and those outside that need food assistance. • Each week will be asking for a specific can good. The can good to be collected will be announced after the committee has met. Please see me if you are interested in this work.
