  13. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…” (Matthew 28:19)

  18. Baptism is a landmark for obedience, establishing a precedent for yielding to all other biblical commands. Water baptism, then, is critical to establish an obedient lifestyle, but not necessary to receive eternal life.

  20. Water baptism is critical for obedience but not criterion for salvation.
