  2. The-SLINKY-FAD Developed during postwar periods. This fad was more apt to relax and find amusement with simple things. Around the time of ww2 people fell in love with the toy. experience as a shipbuilder when a coil spring he was working with fell off of a shelf and began to gyrate and make slithering movements as it moved across the floor

FLAG POLE SITTING • Became famous in the 1924-1929 By Alvin Kelly. • in 1924 and within weeks hundreds of people were trying to call themselves the "King of the Pole. • Kelly sat atop a flagpole for a record 49 days in front of an audience of 20,000 admirers • Flagpole sitting died out around 1929 with the coming of the Depression.

  4. BETTY BOOP • Created by Grim Netwick in 1930 • Betty Boop is known as the first and one of the most famous sex symbol. • Betty became a fad in 1930 because of her sex appeal. • Betty boop was made from Helen Kane a famous singer and Clara bow a popular actress .
