Sofia University “St. KlimentOhridski” Erasmus at University and Faculty level • Sofia University is a partner in EM Basileus IV project, directed toward academic exchange with universities on the Balkan peninsula, managed by the University of Ghent • As a language oriented faculty we are very active users of Erasmus bilateral agreements : out of 428 for the whole university, 81 are signed with our faculty Faculty of Classical and Modern Philologies
Sofia University “St. KlimentOhridski” Credit recognition • As per Erasmus requirements our students are expected to earn 30 credits per semester during their Erasmus mobility. • All credits earned abroad are duly recognized as per the relevant academic record transcript • Those subjects which match the compulsory study plan are recognized as such, all the rest are deemed optional (their names are explicitly mentioned in the final diploma’s annex) • All foreign students coming to Bulgaria on an Erasmus mobility program are given at the end of their stay an official transcript in English of their academic record Faculty of Classical and Modern Philologies
