  2. Grand Canyon • It is a National Canyon. • It is located in Arizona. • It was created by the Colorado River. • It is a wonder to me because you may go and see what in other places you may not.

The Great Light House of Alexandria • A amazing light house bigger than Rome. • It is located in Alexandria, Egypt. • Alexander’s general Ptolemy I, the first king or ruler of the city, dreamed it up and began its construction around 300 BC. • Sailing in this coastal region was very dangerous, so it was built to help the sailors navigate their return to the Great Harbor. • It is important to me because it was where the Jewish translated the bible.

  4. Eiffel Tower • It is a tower. • The Eiffel tower is located in Paris, France. • All individual parts were engineered and prefabricated in a work shop, parts were than bolted together not welded. • The Eiffel Tower was built for the World Exhibition in 1889, held in celebration of the French Revolution in 1789. • I think it is a wonder because it is over 339 years old.

  5. Great Barrier Reef • It is a barrier reef. • The Great Barrier Reef is in the Coral Sea, on Australia’s north-eastern coast. • I think it is a wonder because it is very beatiful.

  6. Great Pyramid Of Giza • It Is a pyramid. • It is in Egypt. • By Egyptian peasants. • It is big and you could go inside of it.

  7. Christ of Redeem • It is a statue of Christ. • It is located at the top of Corcovado Mountain. • The reason why it was built was to show that Christ loves all. • I think it is a wonder because it shows that God loves all.

  8. Roman Coliseum • It is a coliseum where they used to fight. • It is located in Rome. • Vespasian wanted to erase the memory of Nero's extravagant reign from the minds of Romans • I think it is a wonder because it Is over 2000 years old.
