BellSouth 21.0 LOH Overview
PURPOSE • Provide a high-level overview of the documentation changes impacting the LOH or LEO IG V2 for the 21.0 production release. • This presentation includes summaries of all release related item not just those with impacts to the LOH or LEO IG V2 documents. • Note:This presentation is not inclusive of the changes made in the LOH. The LSR originator should consult the LOH ordering guides when submitting LSR requests
Features and CRs The following list of features have LOH impact and will be discussed in this presentation: • F-38762 (CR 2129) • F-37825 (CR pending)
Features and CRs cont. The following list of features do not have LOH impact but will be summarized in this presentation: • F-31599 (CR 2058) • F-38621(CR 2115)
F-38762 (CR 2129) • Current Process • LSRs that request Loop Modification be performed must be submitted manually with a Service Inquiry form. The LSR is first sent to the CRSG (Complex Resale Group) and then to OSPE (Outside Plant Engineering) before being sent to the LCSC. The LMT and BTRL fields are not currently supported by BellSouth. • Expected Process: • Upon implementation of this feature, a CLEC can utilize the LMT and BTRL fields electronically to communicate what type of Loop Modification is being requested. This process bypasses the CRSG and OSPE is not engaged until after the service order is issued. The LMT and BTRL fields will be supported by BellSouth.
F-25288 (CR 1260) cont. • What is affected with this change: • LOH changes to ELMS6 only: • Added the BTRL and LMT field to R/C/O tables for applicable REQTYP A products. • Added the BTRL and LMT fields to the Data Dictionary. • Changed the interval guide for some REQTYP A services.
F-37825 (CR pending) • Current Process • Currently, LSR forms are submitted electronically via TCIF 9 and ELMS 6 Industry Maps. Currently, REQTYP M uses the Resale Form and Port Form. • Expected Process: • With implementation of this feature, LSR forms will be submitted electronically via separate ELMS 6 and ELMS 10 Industry Maps. In ELMS 10, REQTYP M will use the Port Form only. In ELMS 6, REQTYP M will continue to use the Resale and Port Forms The Internal SCHEMA will represent a combined ELMS 6 and ELMS 10 Industry view. • What is affected with this change: LOH changes for this item will not be made until Release 22 when ELMS10 is effective.
F-31599 (CR 2058) • Current Process: • EELs request for ACT of C, T, N and D are to be routed to the LCSC for manual handling. • Expected Process: • With the implementation of this feature, EELs requests for ACTs of N and D will flow through and generate a service order. EELs requests for C and T are to be routed to the LCSC for manual handling. • What is affected with this change: There are no LOH changes required for this feature.
F-38621 (CR 2115) • Current Process • Customers cannot Search LSR by REQTYP/ACT via LENS view LSR capability • Expected Process: • Customer can search LSR by REQTYP/ACT in LENS using view LSR capability • What is affected with this change: NoLOH changes required for this feature, however, the LENS USER Guide will be updated.
