  1. ChPP Through AIPM Membership If an AIPM (Australian Institute of Project Management) member has attained RegPM™ level CPPD or CPPE, they can become a Chartered Project Professional through the Association for Project Management (APM), located in the UK. Let’s know what ChPP grade is that an AIPM member can attain. What is ChPP? ChPP, which stands for the Chartered Project Professional standard is a professional benchmark demonstrating the achievement of a defined level of technical knowledge, professional practice and ethical behaviour. It forms the basis of the evaluation that an applicant has to pass to attain the ChPP status, inclusion on the APM Register of Chartered Project Professionals and utilize the ChPP post-nominals. An additional step in the certification journey: The chartered credential is an additional step in the certification pathway for AIPM CPPD and CPPE certified members. It is because chartership comes with the recognition of their experience and competency in delivering strategic objectives, as evaluated by the AIPM certification process. Two major benefits of becoming a Chartered Project Professional: It raises the standard of your profile both at an international and national level. This grade gives personal recognition of your credibility from your peers in project management and other professions.

  2. Steps for Chartership for AIPM members: The following are the four steps that an AIPM member has to go through to attain ChPP status: They need to attain AIPM RegPM™ certification at the Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) or Certified Practising Portfolio Executive (CPPE) level. After that, they have to apply for APM Chartered status; give basic information, upload their CPD points log for the past 12 months and a copy of their RegPM™ CPPD or CPPE certificate, give details of two proposers, and pay the application fee. The third step is to partake in a phone interview (up to 30 minutes) covering the following: CPD, ethics and currency of mandatory competencies. When having completed all these steps successfully, the panel will confirm their results and award them Chartered status. How to apply: As a certified member of AIPM (CPPD and CPPE), you can attain Chartered status from the AIPM with a simple process and at a lower cost. The APM completely manages this program, and applications are processed nearly six times a year. Resource URL https://rollbol.com/blogs/1495896/ChPP-Through-AIPM- Membership
