  1. What are the routes to attaining CMI Chartered Manager Status Do you dream of attaining the CMI Chartered Manager status but don’t know how to do so? Don’t worry, and read this blog to know the pathways for this status. Currently, CMI provides candidates three routes to attaining the CMI Chartered Manager status. The route the candidate needs to choose is dependent on their mix of qualifications and management experience. Let’s know each of the pathways. Pathways: The three pathways are Full Assessment, CMI Fast Track and Apprenticeship. Let’s know each of the three pathways: Full Assessment: To be eligible for this pathway, you need to either have a graduate-level qualification that is management, business or leadership focused and 3 years of work experience in a management role. Or, A minimum of five years of management experience which must be equivalent to Level 5 or operational/senior management level if you don’t have a management-specific qualification.

  2. How to register: For registration, you need to reach the team via cmgr@managers.org.uk to request registration and fix payment. Cost: Complete a written application summarizing management journey to date and showcasing some of your major attainments. After that, you will be introduced to one of CMI’s independent Chartered Manager assessors. They will fix an online professional discussion with you to know more about your application, giving you the chance to bring your experiences and skills to life. After completing the professional discussion, the assessor will fully review both elements of your application and let you to you the result. Costs: £650+VAT (and ongoing annual membership fee where applicable) 2. Fast Track pathway: To be eligible for the CMI Fast Track pathway, you need to have a CMI Diploma qualification (at level 5 or above) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role. Registration: For registration, contact the team via cmgr@managers.org.uk to ask for registration and for an invoice. Cost: The CMI Fast Track route builds on the completion of your CMI Diploma qualification and offers a fast-track assessment process considering your prior learning with CMI. It will cost you around £130 + VAT (plus membership fees where applicable). 3. Apprenticeship (EPA): You are undergoing End Point Assessment (EPA) by means of CMI for one of these apprenticeship standards and have related management experience: · Level 5 Operations/Department Manager · Level 6 CMDA · Level 7 SLMDA There is no registration required. Cost: The assessment criteria for the Chartered Manager assessment have been built into the CMI assessment at EPA.
