Appeal of Who Says • I personally chose this song because nobody should change who they are just because they are told to by someone else. • The song is like someone telling you that you are perfect just the way you are. • It also means that you don’t have to look a certain way just to get some peoples attention or to fit in with a certain clique/group.

Story of Who Says • Selena wrote this song when she was in elementary school and because some kids where saying that she is ugly. • Selena (in the song) is saying that no matter what you look like or who you really are you are perfect and you can’t change the way you look or the way you see things will not change yourself.

  4. Message • The message is: inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. • The point of the message is that if people change themselves, they won’t understand that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. • The other message: be yourself.

  5. Mood/tone of the song • The tone of the song is every happy moment you can think of. • It is a joyful tone and has a happy beat and rhythm • The beat sounds like a happy song you're listening to during a walk/jog.
