  2. L., maschio, 11 anni, inala 15-20 puff di salmeterolo + fluticasone. Condotto in PS per cardiopalmo, nausea, vomito e addominalgia. Viene eseguito ECG che mostra …

  3. … allungamento dell’intervallo QT QTc 470 msec

  4. Durante il ricovero è sottoposto a monitoraggio continuo dei parametri vitali ed ECG seriati. L’intervallo QT si normalizza in quarta giornata.

  5. Take home message L’allungamento del QT è un possibile effetto collaterale di salmeterolo e salbutamolo. Per l’associazione con aritmie potenzialmente fatali (torsione di punta), è bene tenerlo presente nella pratica clinica.
