Blue Team Long Island Sound Field Study When: Thursday, May 5th – 9:00A.M. – 1:30P.M. Where: Sherwood Island State Park, Westport Why: To study the intertidal zone & the LIS environment while incorporating team building activities What You Should Bring/Wear… Required Sturdy footwear with socks for walking Bag Lunch with drink! NO GLASS Two pencils Recommended WEAR TEAM T-SHIRT!!!! Sunscreen & Bug Spray (apply at home) Change of socks or water shoes Small Backpack Towel Optional Hat Sunglasses Pack lightly- you will carry your bag and equipment all day! Dress for the weather! It is cooler on the beach. Rain gear may be needed. This fieldtrip will only be canceled for thunder. (Check the weather or my website the night before) Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority Field Study When: Monday, May 16th – 9:00A.M. – 1:30P.M. Where: Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority and Tengda in Goodwives Shopping Plaza Why: To study wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal and recycling in our local environment  What You Should Bring/Wear… Required Long pants, coat or raincoat, sturdy SHOES with socks Two pencils Recommended Clip Board WEAR TEAM T-SHIRT!!!! The guided tour will consist of walking through the indoor and outdoor areas of the working facility. Hard hats will be provided. Dress for the weather! NO open toe shoes! (Check the weather or my website the night before)
