  1. Warm up 11/12/13 • Question: What is atomic mass? • Answer: • The weighted average of all isotopes of an element. • Goal: I will build models of atomic nuclei.

ELEMENT OF THE DAY • 29 – Copper – Cu • Copper alloyed with tin makes bronze and alloyed with zinc makes brass. • Copper, cesium and gold are the only metal elements that are not some form of silver/gray color. • Copper has the second highest electrical conductivity of any metal, and hence is commonly used in electrical wiring.
