4. This is Mertilda Lin Mei Ting.

5. She has long, black hair and long finger nails. She wears red nail polish. She wears beautiful dresses; she likes to dress up as a Princess.

6. She wears red lipstick to match her red painted nails. She likes to look pretty all the time.

7. She lives in a condominium with many flowers in the garden. She lives on the 6th floor. She loves flowers because they smell really fragrant and are so colourful.

8. She uses pink blusher on her cheeks and some seriously wicked mascara. She curls her lashes with an eyelash curler. She has shiny eyebrows.

9. She buys her dresses, accessories and make-up at Orchard Road. She wears a ring, a pair of earrings and two hairclips.

10. Mertilda Lin Mei Ting has a secret.She has magical powers.

13. Hi! I am the owner of a new café. My name is Alice.The name of the café is ALICE’S CAFÉ.

14. This is the coffee that my customers drink at my café.

15. This is the decoration on the walls of my cafe.

16. And this is MY café.

17. This is the cup which holds the coffee.

18. This is my pet rabbit.

19. This is the rabbit’s cage. My rabbit lives with me inside the cafe.

20. My rabbit eats the grass just outside the café.

21. This is the table that my customers sit around to drink coffee.

22. This is the type of chair that my customers sit on when they are drinking coffee at my cafe.

23. There is a fan in my café as it gets a little hot sometimes.

24. This is the type of spoon that my customers use to stir their coffee.

25. And this is the type of fork that my customers can use to feed themselves at my café.

26. This looks like a plate but it is actually a saucer. On this is where you put your coffee cup.

27. This is the menu.

28. There is cake and lots more food that you can enjoy at my café.

31. This is a cage. There is a pet inside the cage. There is a naughty dog.

32. This is the naughty dog. His name is Naughty Dog.

33. This is a kind of pet food. It’s cat food.

34. This is my Pet Home, where I take care of animals that other people no longer want. I call it “DO NOT BITE”

35. This is the happy fish. She likes to play with other fish.

37. This is a cute dog. His name is Cute Dog.

38. This is another dog. He likes to run about on the grass. He is a playful dog. His name is Playful Dog.

39. One day, I set up a competition for the dogs. It was a race between Naughty Dog, Cute Dog and Playful Dog.

40. Playful Dog won the race!

41. On another day, I set up a playground for my dogs.

44. This is Mikan. She is very fussy about food. She hates vegetables. She only likes meat. Mikan is a very friendly person.

45. The person next to her is Mikan’s mother. Her mother is very thrifty. Her mother shares half of her vegetables with her friend because she is worried that if she buys the whole packet of vegetables, they will go bad. And that would be wasteful indeed.

46. This is Mikan’s little brother. Mikan tends to make fun of his little brother. Sometimes, she snatches his food. His brother’s name is Luzuku. His brother always cries when Mikan bullies him.

47. This is her mother during her younger days.
