Individual Level The significant and/or recurring experiences of the individual, including the messages conveyed to or about the person and the resulting meaning made by that individual.
Group Level The significant and/or recurring experiences of a particular group (subgroup of society i.e. teachers, Catholics, refugees, etc.), including the messages conveyed to or about that particular group and the dominant meaning made throughout that group
Societal Level The significant and/or recurring events, actions or shared experiences in the U.S. as a society and the dominant messages conveyed throughout this society
Small Group Discussion Can we view them differently than we did in our initial reactions? How do our experiences shape the way we view each statement? How can we relate these statements to our personal experiences as well as to our future patients?
