  3. APRICOT 背景介紹 • 緣由及成就 • 成立於1996年 • 源起於負責亞太區網際網路資源分配與管理之Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) 的會議專案，目的為提升亞太地區網路發展 • 亞太地區最具指標性之網路營運科技高峰會議 • 目標 • 教育訓練，現今主流技術或將於一年內deploy者 • 亞太地區各國網路經驗分享及科技交流 • 前瞻性網際網路營運科技之研討

APRICOT 運作精神與模式 • 無給職、義務性質之APRICOT Executive Committee (APRICOT EXCO) ，負責各屆年會之政策決議，並監督相關籌備作業。 • 現任主席為馬來西亞籍之Wendy Liew，目前共有委員十六位，分別來自於澳洲、美國、韓國、日本、泰國、新加坡等地，並來自於國際網路組織或相關網路產業界 。 • APRICOT Program Committee負責大會議程。 • 各屆主辦國自行設立大會指導委員會、籌備委員會及必要工作組織。 • 2003年起轉型，與APIA合併運作，在APIA董事會下成立APRICOT Advisory Committee
