  4. Plagued • Verb • Means to cause worry or distress to. • Example: Computer viruses plague Internet users.

  5. Unmitigated • Adjective • Means not lessened. • Example: It looks like another one of your get-rich-quick schemes has ended in unmitigatedfailure.
